Nick is playing judge, jury and executioner in unison. Nick effectively executes Clyde for what he's done, without a trial. Rice makes one last plea for Clyde to stop what hes doing and surrender, insisting that if he dials the suitcase bomb, hell regret it for the rest of his life. So when Nick gives Clyde a last chance to give up before actually deliberately blowing him up, he has crossed this line. What happened at the end of law abiding citizen Law Abiding Citizen ends with Rice having turned the tables and meeting Clyde in his cell. There simply seemed to be no way to stop this guy with legal measures. Law Abiding Citizen starts off promisingly enough in Death Wish mode, but once it enters Saw territory, things get really, really dumb, with Sheltons meticulous planning meaning that he can carry out his revenge even from inside a prison cell, having somehow predicted the every move of legal eagle Nick Rice (Jamie Foxx) and his Department of Justice colleagues. He forced the police, the attorneys, and the entire city's government into a corner from which they couldn't get out.
Throughout the movie he tried to show everyone how broken the system is, he made deals for trivial commodities and baited a judge into giving him low bail, only to then insult her for her lack of justice, and ultimately comitted all his crimes being locked up in prison. He wanted to drive the law enforcement system to its extremes, so that they finally realize what is "necessary" (from his point of view) to stop somebody and enforce true "justice", and not hide behind their supposedly broken system anymore, which was what he primarily blamed for the lack of justice the murderers of his family got.
Both of those movies came out within a month of each other back in 2007, not a fun month for me. I wasnt a fan of Kevin Bacons Death Sentence when the boy dragged me to it, nor was I a fan of Jodie Fosters The Brave One. The primary motivation why Clyde did this was not only revenge, but also to prove his point. Law Abiding Citizen Im not a fan of vigilante revenge type movies, and so I knew going into this I wouldnt be a fan.
However, there is yet another aspect to this. And I also agree that it surely isn't really guilt over what he did.
For those not quite ready to commit, you can get a taste of what Netflix has to offer by checking out the "Netflix Free Section," which includes a selection of some of the streamer's best originals for non-subscribers to check out.Burhan already makes a great point in that Clyde was merely exhausted from his anger and had nothing to live for anymore, so he was partly relieved to finally die and get back to his family, something he himself couldn't and wouldn't do. You can watch all of these titles and more by signing up for one of the streamer's three subscription plans – the basic plan ($8.99 per month), the standard plan ($13.99 per month), and the premium plan ($17.99 per month). The first days of December will also be marked by plenty of new Netflix originals, with Lost in Space returning for its third and final season this week alongside the final batch of episodes for Money Heist and a new season of The Great British Baking Show: Holidays. He also believes that everyone should pay for their action, including himself. Clyde was out to destroy the corrupt system, not just kill people. Seuss' The Cat in the Hat, three Final Destination Films, and even The Legend of Zoro. The ending was a complete departure from the rest of the story. Among the incoming licensed content is Death at a Funeral, Dr. Ive never seen a worse ending to an otherwise amazing film.
They are Maverick (decline tour), Law abiding citizen (finish the game without looping) and the many shall suffer (ending 1) but you. It will then kick off December with a rush of new content, including plenty of licensed titles to get excited about. You can get 3 achievements in the first 5 minutes of the game. Fortunately, even with its flaws, Law Abiding Citizen is still interesting and fun to watch and the Blu-ray treatment of the film is done exceptionally well. The streamer will be ending November with a final wave of titles, including everything from its new documentary 14 Peaks: Nothing Is Impossible to a trio of new Charlie's Coloforms City specials. Perhaps the ending was supposed to be ironic, but instead it felt tacked on and more a Hollywood ending than anything motivated by character.
